Individual Training Admission Criteria
In order to access the LEEA training schemes the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

Minimum age of 21 years

Fluent written and spoken English

School leavers certificate in Mathematics

Reliable access to the internet (for online courses)

Microsoft Word to access training materials

Mobility to be able to access a regional examination centre.

All application forms will be reviewed by the LEEA training manager, acceptance onto the training schemes is subject to this approval and trainees may be asked to provide additional information to aupport their application. All training materials provided are copyright to the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association and are provided for use by the applicant and must not be duplicated or transmitted in any format.
The LEEA reserve the right to exclude any applicant from the courses and to remove any applicant whose actions contravene the terms and conditions of the training or whose actions cause the name of the LEEA to be bought into disrepute.
Completion of training courses does not represent a qualification in any way, all candidates must attend and pass the Association's exam in order to gain the qualification.
Individual trainees are not members of the Association and are not entitled to use the name of the Association or the Association logo in any way in support of their business activity.
Examination centres will be set up on a regional basis based upon the level of demand, the Association cannot guarantee immediate access to a local examination centre on completion of a course although all reasonable efforts will be made to provide examination centres at accessible locations for all students.
All candidates who pass an examination will be entitled to submit a CV which will be posted in the members area of the LEEA website allowing potential employers to make contact.
