Course Fees

Note - All Individual trainees must complete the Part 1 Entry Examination foundation course before completing any of the diploma level courses. Part 1 is not a qualification but a basic foundation course allowing trainees to gain the basic knowledge before attempting to complete the diploma level training.

  • Conventional mail

    UK: £547.50 (inc. VAT). This includes everything except text books and other additional reading material.

    International: £456.25. We recommend that international students use the online Training Portal, as surface mail is an unreliable method of delivery.

  • Training Portal

    Students inside the EU: £397.50 (inc. VAT).

    Students outside the EU: £331.25 (VAT is not applicable to international students).


Practical Training

All practical training courses are held at our purpose-built training centre in Huntingdon UK; a full schedule of the courses being held is shown on the events section of the website (please note the prices shown in the events section are for corporate member companies).

Part 1 Entrance Examination (2 day intensive course)

£455 + VAT (this includes the fee for the end of course examination)

Lifting Equipment General / Lifting Machines Manual / Lifting Machines Power / Offshore Containers (5 day Intensive courses)

£850 + VAT per course (this includes the fee for the end of course examination)

MEWPS (3 day Intensive course)

£725 + VAT per course (this includes the fee for the end of course examination)

Electrical (Basic Hoist Control) (4 day Intensive course)

£680 + VAT per course (this includes the fee for the end of course examination)


Examination Fees (inclusive of VAT - current for 2013)

The following fees are due at the time of submitting the entry form. Refunds or credits for cancellation will not be made except as stated in guidance note 3.
